Have you ever wanted to read the Bible but hesitated because it felt difficult to understand? Then listen to the Bible in a Year in your favorite podcast app. This is an opportunity to come to know God more deeply as He truly is. Participants will meet on the last Wednesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Bosco. First meeting: Wednesday, January 28, at 10:00 AM in the St. John Bosco Library.

Embody the Works of Mercy by bringing the Holy Eucharist to parishioners who can no longer join us at Mass. The number of homebound parishioners has increased, while the number of Eucharistic Visitors has not, leaving many waiting longer to receive our Eucharistic Lord. Parishioners with a deep love for the Eucharist and a faithful life of prayer are invited to serve as Eucharistic Visitors to the Homebound. Training is provided.

Ushers are often the first people parishioners and visitors encounter at Mass. A warm welcome can make the difference between someone returning to church or never coming back. Serving as an usher is a simple but vital ministry of hospitality. Training will be offered this month.

The Pilgrim Mother Shrine brings Mother Mary’s loving presence into our homes, inviting families to grow closer to Christ through prayer and the Rosary. As the image of our Blessed Mother visits a new home each week, it strengthens the domestic church and deepens communion within families.

Encounter Christ more deeply and grow in confidence as a disciple through our Bible Studies with the missionaries. These gatherings are an invitation to Evangelize through catechesis—to be formed by the Word of God so that it may be shared with clarity, charity, and conviction.

Attending a funeral Mass is a way to Embody the Works of mercy, by praying for the dead and offering spiritual support to the mourning family. All the faithful are welcome, even if you didn’t know the deceased; your presence is a quiet witness to our belief in the Resurrection.
